ACCESS TO TRAINING, EMPLOYMENT AND MENTORING
Empowering people living with HIV
Rain Trust is a voluntary organisation that provides services and education to individuals living primarily in London. It offers assistance and support to those suffering long-term conditions, including those living with, affected by and at risk from HIV. Rain Trust seeks to raise awareness of the realities of living with HIV. We provide the latest information about the basics of HIV transmission as well as the social and psychological aspects of living with the virus. We strive to continually evolve. In recent years, as society has gained a better understanding of the virus and it’s possible treatments, we have developed further services specifically tailored to the needs of a wide variety of groups. They are developed according to age, ethnicity and religious backgrounds.
FIND OUT MORE
Our work falls under the following project areas:
Outreach and Advocacy
The service is designed to provide as much support as possible to people affected by and/or living with HIV. We address health issues such as sexual/reproductive, including HIV/AIDS and mental health.
Volunteering and Support
The programme aims to provide volunteering and support opportunities to people of diverse backgrounds, particularly People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).
Access to Training, Employment and Mentoring
The programme aims to equip beneficiaries with skills and training to enable them gain employment, and/or enter into gainful economic enterprises.
I like the diversity of the groups and types of people that attend the groups Rain organise as you can always learn something new about them and yourself
